Abstract
In the article the questions of geo-information and cartographic support of the evaluation t of water resources of Belgorod region are observed. Special attention was paid to the algorithm of creation of specialized regional GIS "Water resources and their rational use". The possibilities of GIS for decision of questions of evaluation and rational use of the water resources of the region are shown.
