Abstract

The article presents the data obtained from the studies of natural atural disasters in Russian Altai, such as catastrophic glacio-fluvial floods in the Pleistocene, modern extreme floods in large mountain rivers, formation of hanging ice dams on small rivers, strong earthquakes and related phenomena. Results of the study can be used in the organization of scientific tourism both in Russia and abroad.
