Abstract

The article examines the prospects and possibilities of application of geoinformation technologies in the study and use of land resources. Revealed and substantiates the necessity of wide application of geoinformation technologies and implementation of geographic information systems. Particular attention is paid to the Land Resources of the Republic of Mordovia.
