The article provides a short review of technology of development of the expert system integrated with a geographic information system (GIS) for subject domain of the geomorphological analysis. The semistructured problem of identification of the indicative structural lines of a surface of a relief is considered. To solve the problem, a method of the complete integration and the system projection on the basis of UML diagrams are used. The publication gives grounds for application of the described technology and feature of realization of expert system integration with GIS. Examples of creation of UML diagrams, state space of the problem and implementation of expert rules in the CLIPS language are given.
