Abstract

The fuel and energy complex of the country depends on the development of the transport system. Pipelines are the most economic type of hydrocarbon transportation. But its construction takes a lot of time. Errors on any stage of pipeline construction lead to negative material, environmental, and political consequences. Nowadays GIS can help with pipeline route direction and minimize its influence on the environment. Recomended methods of analysis are adapted to several Russian regions – Yakutia, Amur and Chita regions.
